The Menzshed primarily exists for the benefit, success and support of it's members and is a place where men can go to socialize, have a yarn, be creative, share ideas, share skills and spend time with other men while working.
In our Menzshed we are undertaking a number of projects which are explained and shown below
Turning
We have lathes that have been donated to us, these have been services by us and are now used for turning wood.
Mud Kitchens
Mud kitchens is an ongoing project for us. These are supplied to Kindies and early childhood centres.
Grandkids day
Our first members and grandkids school holiday project. The idea for this was to share what making things in the shed can be like, while having a bit of fun making something together. This time we made a Tui Feeder, perfect for this time of year.
Personal Projects
Personal projects can be anything that you can think of in this picture on of our members made his grandchildren a tray each with their names on them.
